REALITY CHECK: Growing While in a Calorie Deficit?
A little reality check to all the female competitors that are in a contest prep at the very moment that keep saying “Love putting on muscle during this prep” “I’m growing!”….ahem…you ain’t growing A THING on the amount of calories you are consuming, and the amount of cardio you are running. I can bet, for the most part, my meal #1 is 2/3s of your ENTIRE daily intake. Ya..you are NOT GROWING…you are just getting rid of water, fat, and (yes) some muscle while dieting down. Unless you are highly anabolic (yes, ON GEAR), you are not growing a peep of muscle. You are just showing off what you built in the offseason. As us knowledgeable people say, contests are WON IN THE OFFSEASON. #youvebeeneducated
