#ROADTORECOVERY – START OF THE COMEBACK – DUAL DISTAL BICEP TENDON RUPTURES

12 Weeks post op on the left arm, 5 weeks post op on the right arm. Time to start the comeback slowly at this point. I feel great, so it’s time to work. I cant do much with bicep training movements yet, but I am touching the waters with machines, cables and hammer presses.

Physical therapy is going superb, nutrition is slowly increasing, HGH treatment has been the same with 2ius per day in the morning, and I’ve been keeping active as best as possible. The weights I’m using on my upper-body right now are about 50% of what I was using prior to injury. I’m focusing on each rep, and making sure I’m not doing any jerky movements, and I’m not training to failure as that can induce an unsafe repetition.

Atrophy status, they are slowly increasing in size, but I still cannot activate my right bicep pretty much, and training on my left bicep is still light. I haven’t decided to put it under a load heavier then 20-25lbs in dumbbell hammer curls. I will only go when my therapist tells me to do so.
