How To Keep Focused On Your Diet & Nutrition

First off, before I start, this is a DISCIPLINE!

This is a topic/question that I get asked more times then anyone cares to know, because no matter where I go, I am always dedicated to my nutrition and meals. So when I get asked “how do you do it?” I simply tell them that it’s something that keeps me ready for the thing I love to do, Train. Training is the time I get to test myself, and push myself past any comfort levels to try an achieve something I am shooting for. With training, I am slowly building the physique I am trying to achieve. With no food, there is no training, with no training there is no physique. It’s a DISCIPLINE that everyone must learn, and for many they have troubles learning it. Honestly, to me, I feel those that have a hard time learning a discipline have had their hands held through many things in their lives, and were never tested to take on a hardship by themselves.

So when I buy my food, take it home, season/flavor it, start cooking it, then prep into individual meals, they all have a specific purpose. Their purpose is to make me feel good, energized, and ready to battle the weights during training. If I do not have the right amount of food/fuel within my system before I train, the training will suffer (especially with the methods I use to break down the muscle tissue). There are times Id rather not train, and move the session back, until I get the required fuel within my system.

Also, eating healthy should be a BIG purpose in anyones life. If you eat garbage, you’ll end up looking/feeling like garbage. I love how many people say that it’s expensive to eat healthy…BULLSHIT. That is complete lazy ass talk right there. Here WATCH THIS video I made on budget bodybuilding shopping. You’ll get 6 meals per day (whole foods) and a great variety of different foods for $105 a week; expensive my ass. If you’re one of these people, stop making those excuses. It takes only about 1 hour to prep plenty of meals for a few days

But it’s easy for me to keep focused on my nutrition because I made a purpose for it. Think about the purpose you need to have that same focus, and apply it. After that it becomes as easy as breathing, I kid you not.

Achieve DISCIPLINE.
